Short description

Traffic studies are classic tasks of traffic engineering which are conducted during planning or re-planning within a planning approval procedure or for land development planning.

In this two-day course, you will learn about the basic procedure of conducting a traffic study (macroscopic) with VISUM. You will become familiar with the methods used for input data determination and traffic modelling, and with the output data for subsequent survey reports. This course is aimed at newcomers in this field as well as at experienced project managers who wish to deploy VISUM more efficiently at work. The follow-up course is called "Conducting a traffic engineering study with VISUM and VISSIM" and focuses on subsequent analyses in terms of traffic engineering.

Target group

This training course addresses employees of traffic planning offices, planning authorities and project development companies.
